Trilegal and HSA Advocates advised on Motilal Oswal Group’s INR 1,500 crore investment in Inox Clean Energy.
Motilal Oswal Alternates and certain other entities in the Motilal Oswal Group have committed up to INR 1,500 crore in Inox Clean Energy, the integrated renewable energy platform of the INOXGFL Group, by way of subscription to compulsorily convertible debentures.
The structured private credit investment will support Inox Clean Energy’s acquisitions and other growth initiatives as it expands its renewable power generation and solar manufacturing businesses. The CCDs are contemplated to convert into equity upon Inox Clean Energy accessing the capital markets, facilitating an eventual exit through an initial public offering.
