FTSE 100-listed SSE is a leading generator of renewables and flexible energy in the Great Britain and Ireland markets and one of the world’s fastest-growing electricity networks companies.
The proceeds of the equity raise will be used as part of the overall funding of SSE’s transformational £33bn five-year investment plan to 2029/30, positioning it as one of the fastest growing electricity networks in the world and more than trebling the size of the regulated asset base.

Morgan Securities plc (which conducts its UK investment banking activities under the marketing name J.P. Morgan Cazenove) and Merrill Lynch International as joint bookrunners, and Banco Santander, S.A. and RBC Europe Limited as co-bookrunners.
