Trilegal, TT&A Advised On Kanohar Electricals’ ₹1055.74 Cr IPO

Trilegal and Talwar Thakore & Associates (TT&A) advised on Kanohar Electricals’ INR 1055.74 crore IPO.

Kanohar Electricals Limited raised INR 1055.74 crore through an initial public offering comprising a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to INR 300 crore and an offer for sale aggregating to INR 755.7 crore by K Sons Family Trust, a promoter of the Company.

The offering also included a pre-IPO sale, pursuant to which K Sons Family Trust sold equity shares aggregating to INR 200 crore to certain long-term investors.

Kanohar is one of India’s leading transformer manufacturers by revenue for Fiscal 2026, catering to high-growth sectors such as power transmission, railways, renewable energy, and power distribution.

Trilegal advised Kanohar Electricals Limited on the IPO.

The Capital Markets team advising on the mandate was led by Partners Richa Choudhary and Murtaza Zoomkawala and comprised Senior Associate Rainika Malhotra and Associates Rajat Chauksey, Pallavi Vuppu and Manya Sharma.

Talwar Thakore & Associates (TT&A) advised Nuvama Wealth and IIFL Capital Services Limited (formerly known as IIFL Securities Limited), the BRLMs, on the IPO of Kanohar Electricals Limited amounting to INR 1055.74 crore.

The TT&A team comprised Partner Abhinav Kumar, Managing Associate Shubham Sancheti, Senior Associates Ayana Banerjee and Abhishek Iyer and Associates Akshita Sharma, Keshav Yadav, Yash Bhandari, Nadiya Murshed and Chinmaya Jain.
