Khaitan & Co advised PB Healthcare Services on its acquisition of NEO Hospital. DLS Law Offices advised the Neo Hospital, the 274 bedded Neo Hospital valued at of ₹450 Crores, Neo Pharmacy and its selling shareholders, on the acquisition of strategic stake of their equity shareholding at approximately ₹300 crores by PB Healthcare Services Private Limited an affiliate of PolicyBazaar. The firm represented the Neo Hospital, Neo Pharmacy, Dr. Rajiv Motiani, Dr. Rakesh Malhotra, Dr. Gulab Gupta, and Dr. Sandeep Gulati.
The acquisition is structured through three tranches, with subsequent tranches to complete the full acquisition over the next two years by way of escrow arrangement.
