Prayaan Capital has raised INR 110 crore (approximately USD 12.1 million) in its Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners.
Prayaan Capital is a technology-enabled MSME lending platform focused on expanding access to credit for India’s small businesses. The company combines data-driven underwriting capabilities with digital infrastructure to serve underserved entrepreneurs across key MSME markets in India.
The capital will be used to build out its lending platform, expand its team and scale its geographic presence.
Vertices Partners represented Prayaan Capital in connection with the Series A fundraise.
The transaction was led by Founder and Managing Partner Vinayak Burman and Partner Manu Varghese, supported by Senior Associate Shagun Rathi and Associates Srishti Singh and Stuti Jain.
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Peak XV Partners as lead investor in the Series A round.
