Antares Legal and Vertices Partners advised on Sindhuja Microcredit’s US$5 million Pre-Series D funding round.
The round was backed by existing investors Abler Nordic, GAWA Capital, and Oikocredit. The rural-focused microfinance institution intends to utilise the fresh capital to strengthen its capital base, support business expansion, and scale access to credit for underserved communities.
Antares Legal represented Sindhuja Microcredit Pvt. Ltd. on the fundraise from existing investors Abler Nordic, GAWA Capital and Oikocredit. Antares Legal also represented existing investor Carpediem Capital Partners on matters relating to the transaction.
The Antares team was led by Partner Surbhi Kothiala, with support from Associates Divyanshu Bansal and Garima Thukral.
