AZB & Partners advised Cintra, a subsidiary of Ferrovial, Spain and its affiliates (collectively, “Cintra”) in relation to the rights issue undertaken by IRB Infrastructure Trust for purposes of funding the acquisition of a road infrastructure asset. AZB & Partners also advised Cintra on the acquisition of units from certain affiliates of GIC by way of a secondary off-market transfer.
The deal team comprised Partner Janhavi Seksaria, Senior Associate Mrudul Desai, Associates Ishika Neotia and Rachit Pathoi, with support from Senior Partner Rushabh Maniar on the FPI aspects, and Partner Kirthi Srinivas on the competition law related aspects.
