CMS INDUSLAW advised GAIL (India) Limited, the country’s largest Natural gas transmission and distribution company on a long‑term liquefied natural gas (LNG) Sale and Purchase Agreement with Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd., under which GAIL will receive approximately 1 MMTPA of LNG for a 10 year period beginning in 2026.
The transaction represents a strategic milestone in GAIL’s ongoing efforts to secure diversified, longterm LNG supplies to meet India’s growing energy demand.
