Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal Advised On Karamtara Engineering’s ₹875 Cr IPO

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) and Trilegal advised on Karamtara Engineering’s INR 875 crore IPO.

Karamtara Engineering Limited, a backward-integrated manufacturer of products for the renewable energy and transmission lines sectors, undertook an initial public offering aggregating to INR 875 crore.

The IPO comprised 34,448,817 equity shares, including a fresh issue of 26,574,803 equity shares and an offer for sale of 7,874,014 equity shares by the selling shareholders. JM Financial Limited, ICICI Securities Limited and IIFL Capital Services Limited acted as book running lead managers to the Offer. Karamtara made its stock market debut with shares listing at a nearly 26% premium.

CAM advised the issuer entity, Karamtara Engineering Limited (Company), on its initial public offering aggregating to INR 875 crore.

The team was led by Partner Anshul Roy, with the support of Principal Associate Radhika Pandey, Senior Associate Esha Gupta, and Associates Arikta Shetty, Anomitra Debnath, Janhavi Deshmukh, Chinmay Jhumde and Jahnavi Seethamraju. Senior Partner Yash Ashar provided strategic guidance.

Trilegal advised the Book Running Lead Managers – JM Financial Limited, ICICI Securities Limited and IIFL Capital Services Limited (formerly IIFL Securities) on the IPO.
