Morgan Lewis, Khaitan Advised CMT On $350M Strategic Investment Led By TPG & Allianz 

Morgan Lewis and Khaitan & Co advised Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) on the US$350 million strategic investment led by TPG and Allianz.

Cambridge Mobile Telematics is the world’s largest telematics and AI company for safer mobility. CMT secured a US$350 million strategic investment led by TPG and Allianz X, with participation from State Farm. The investment is intended to accelerate CMT’s global expansion.

CMT’s AI-driven platform DriveWell Fusion® proactively identifies and reduces driving risk, leading to fewer crashes and injuries. Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, CMT operates globally with offices in Budapest, Hungary; Chennai, India; Seattle, Washington; Tokyo, Japan; and Zagreb, Croatia.

Morgan Lewis advised Cambridge Mobile Telematics on the strategic investment.

The team comprised Partners Doug Kingston and Andrew Hamilton, and Associates Charles Condro and Maha Ouni.

Khaitan & Co advised Cambridge Mobile Telematics on the Indian law aspects of the transaction, including the implementation of incentive plans for Indian employees.
