Parinam Law Associates and Trilegal advised on Home Credit India Finance’s proposed ₹967 crore acquisition of Varthana Finance.
Home Credit India Finance Private Limited, a subsidiary of TVS Holdings Limited and a member of the TVS Group, has entered into a proposed transaction to acquire 100% of the shareholding in Varthana Finance Private Limited for an aggregate consideration of ₹967 crore (approximately US$108 million).
Varthana Finance is a non-banking financial company that provides credit and financing solutions to educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and vocational training centres. Upon completion, Varthana will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Home Credit and a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of TVS Holdings.
