Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) and Desai & Diwanji have advised on the strategic collaboration between Dhoot Automotive Systems Private Limited and Ride Vision Limited, an Israel-based company specialising in Advanced Rider Assistance Systems (ADAS) and AI-powered collision avoidance technologies.
The collaboration contemplates the establishment of a joint venture in India to develop and localise advanced driver assistance solutions for the Indian automotive market. The arrangement also includes the licensing of Ride Vision’s proprietary technology and know-how to support the development, manufacturing, and commercialisation of ADAS solutions tailored to Indian road and operating conditions.
The transaction represents a significant cross-border collaboration between India and Israel in the automotive safety technology sector and is aimed at accelerating the adoption of intelligent mobility and road safety solutions in India.
