Travers Smith, Avance, Sullivan & Cromwell, Kirkland & Ellis, A&O Shearman advised on Inflexion’s acquisition of Marioff.
Inflexion, a leading European mid-market private equity firm, has agreed to acquire Marioff, a global leader in high-pressure water mist fire suppression systems, from Sentinel Capital Partners and its portfolio company Spectrum Safety Solutions. The investment is being made through Inflexion’s Buyout Fund VI and marks its seventh investment in the Nordic region.
Headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, Marioff designs, manufactures, installs and services fire suppression systems across marine and land-based environments, and operates in more than 70 countries. The company’s HI-FOG® technology is widely used across applications including data centres, cruise ships, naval vessels and industrial facilities.

The private equity and financial sponsors team was led by Partners Tom Hartwright and Jaryd Davidson, supported by Senior Associate Eric Van Winssen, Associates Lora Abagero and Eloise Boyd, and Trainee Niall Lamont.
