Trilegal, Cooley, AZB, Latham, SAM, CMS INDUSLAW Act On Meta’s $900 Million Series H Investment In CRED

Trilegal, Cooley, AZB & Partners, Latham & Watkins, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) and CMS INDUSLAW advised on Meta’s US$900 million Series H investment in CRED at a post-money valuation of US$4.5 billion.

The investment gives Meta an approximately 20% stake in the Indian fintech company. The transaction also contemplates Kunal Shah’s transition from CRED to a global leadership role at Meta, where he is expected to head WhatsApp.

CRED is a leading Indian fintech platform focused on credit card payments, consumer financial products and rewards-based financial services.
