Trilegal, Touchstone Partners Act On KreditBee’s Series E Fundraise

Trilegal and Touchstone Partners advised on KreditBee’s USD 280 million Series E fundraise.

KreditBee, a digital lending platform, has raised approximately USD 280 million in its Series E funding round led by Hornbill Capital. The round also saw participation from Motilal Oswal Alternates, Premji Invest, Advent International, Dragon Funds, WhiteOak Capital and A.P. Moller Holding, among others.

Upon completion of the round, KreditBee is expected to achieve unicorn status with a valuation of approximately USD 1.5 billion. The company continues to scale its technology-driven lending platform, enabling access to credit for millions of users across India.

Trilegal advised Hornbill Capital in connection with its investment in KreditBee as part of the Series E fundraise.

The Trilegal Corporate team was led by Partner Abhishek Guha and supported by Senior Associates Pavana Padmakumar and Shreya Gokhale.

The Competition team was led by Partner Gauri Chhabra and supported by Senior Associates Ujwala Adikey and Eesha Sheth, and Associates Shobhit Shukla and Shreya Chaudhary.

Touchstone Partners advised Motilal Oswal Alternates and Premji Invest on their investments in KreditBee as part of the Series E fundraise, and also advised TPG NewQuest and Archerman Capital in relation to their rights as existing shareholders under the shareholders’ agreement.

The team included Pranay Bagdi, Kunal Gopal, Viraj Vaidya and Eeshan Krishnatria. The competition law team comprising, Vinod Dhall, Gaurav Desai, Shruti Bhat, Juhi Hirani and Rakshit Rana, advised Motilal Oswal Alternates and Premji Invest on competition law aspects of the transaction.
