TT&A, Baker McKenzie Act On Sale Of Ajanta Pharma’s Shares Worth $100 Mn By Ravi Agrawal Trust

Talwar Thakore & Associates (TT&A) and Baker & McKenzie advised in connection with the secondary sale of up to 3,700,000 equity shares of Ajanta Pharma Limited by Ravi Agrawal Trust, one of the promoters of the company, for an aggregate consideration of approximately INR 10.24 billion (US$100 million).

The transaction was executed through the screen-based trading platforms of BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India.

Talwar Thakore & Associates advised Jefferies, which acted as the broker on the transaction.

The TT&A team was led by Partner Abhinav Kumar, and Senior Associate Indira Satish.

Baker & McKenzie acted as international legal counsel to Jefferies in connection with the transaction.
