ThinkLaw, Advocates announced the addition of Mohit Lahoty as Partner, Technology, Media and Intellectual Property (IP) practice.
Mohit joins from Disney Star, where he was Assistant Regional Counsel, leading legal strategy for the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar and overseeing all Intellectual Property matters across there business units.
With over 23 years of distinguished experience, Mohit is a seasoned lawyer specialising in technology, media and intellectual property. He has led high performing in-house teams and served as lead counsel for diverse business units providing strategic legal advice on policy and and regulatory matters, contentious issues, complex rights disputes and matters involving emerging technologies to global conglomerates in India.
An alumnus of the Franklin Pierce Law Centre (now University of New Hampshire) where he earned his LLLM in IP. Mohit has worked with leading lawyers firms and is recognised for his sharp analytical skills, strategic insight, and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across sectors.
His expertise in navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes will further strengthen ThinkLaw’s capabilities in the fast-evolving Technology, Media and IP space.
