Paul Weiss and Squire Patton Boggs (SPB) advised on Pollen Street Capital’s acquisition of majority stake in Hometree and Hometree’s simultaneous acquisition of OVO Energy’s Home Services business.
Pollen Street Capital has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Hometree Marketplace Limited, alongside Hometree’s simultaneous acquisition of OVO Energy’s Home Services division, including the CORGI HomePlan and CORGI HomeHeat businesses.
The combined business is expected to become the UK’s third-largest provider of home emergency insurance and strengthen Hometree’s position in technology-enabled home services and residential electrification.
