S&R Associates announced that Saumya Kakar has joined the firm as a Retained Partner in the Mumbai office.
Saumya Kakar’s practice covers private equity, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters, including significant experience in the automotive, healthcare and aerospace and defence sectors. Saumya received a B. Sc., LL.B. (Hons.) from Gujarat National Law University in 2016. Her prior experience includes working with Trilegal and Khaitan & Co in Mumbai.
Saumya has represented a wide range of clients including financial & strategic investors, conglomerates, promoters and shareholders of companies across healthcare, e-commerce, IT /ITeS, real estate, pharmaceuticals, broadcasting, wholesale and retail trading sectors on various buy side and sell side transactions.
