Trilegal and IC RegFin Legal advised on Pixxel’s USD 100 million Series C funding.
Pixxel, a Google-backed space technology company focused on Earth observation and satellite-based intelligence, raised USD 100 million (approximately INR 945 crore) in its Series C funding round, co-led by Temasek and Seraphim, with participation from existing investors Radical Ventures and GrowX Ventures, and new investors 360 ONE Asset and IMM Investment. The round is the single-largest funding round raised by a space technology company in India, taking Pixxel’s total funding to USD 195 million.
Founded in 2019 by Awais Ahmed and Kshitij Khandelwal, Pixxel develops hyperspectral imaging satellites and Earth intelligence solutions for applications across agriculture, mining, environmental monitoring, defence and disaster management. The fresh capital will be used to expand its satellite sensing capabilities, further develop its Earth intelligence platform Aurora, strengthen its sovereign space systems capabilities and scale satellite manufacturing at its Bengaluru facility.
