Wong & Partners and Christopher & Lee Ong advised on TPC’s acquisition of a majority stake in Euro-Atlantic.
Tsao Pao Chee (TPC), through its subsidiary Octave Food System Holdings Pte. Ltd., acquired a majority stake in Euro-Atlantic Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysia-based leading specialty produce and gourmet groceries distributor. The transaction includes a strategic joint venture arrangement with Euro-Atlantic’s founders, who will retain a minority shareholding and support the company’s integration into the TPC group.
Founded in 1992, Euro-Atlantic has grown into a leading importer and distributor of specialty fruits, vegetables, marine produce and gourmet groceries in Malaysia. The strategic joint venture arrangement is expected to support Euro-Atlantic’s continued pursuit of new and emerging food sources following its acquisition by TPC.
Wong & Partners advised and supported TPC on the acquisition and joint venture arrangement.
The transaction was led by Transactional Partner Addy Herg, with support from Associates Adrian Koh, Lau Sherley, Raynice Chew and Yee Xuan Tan.
Christopher & Lee Ong, a member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, advised the shareholders of Euro-Atlantic on the sale.
