DLA Piper Bolsters APAC Finance Practice; Adds Ryan Iskandar As A Partner In Sydney

Global law firm DLA Piper announced the appointment of Ryan Iskandar as a Partner in its global Finance practice, effective October 8, 2026.

Based in the firm’s Sydney office, Ryan brings a highly successful derivatives, securitisation and structured finance practice, advising fund managers, asset managers, banks, and other financial institutions on complex financial markets and structured finance matters, fund linked and private credit transactions, and derivatives across a broad range of asset classes. His practice has a particular focus on Asia Pacific and cross-border transactions within the region.

Ryan’s appointment will strengthen the firm’s structured finance, derivatives, and securitisation offering across the region, while connecting clients with lawyers from across the firm’s global platform and groups, including tax, financial regulatory, funds, and restructuring.
