Addleshaw Goddard Strengthens Real Estate Team With New Partner Kirsty Chalkley

Kirsty advises a developers, operators and multi-site occupiers, including publicly listed companies and household names with significant UK real estate footprints. Her arrival follows that of Kirsty Black, who joined the firm in January from Shoosmiths, further strengthening AG’s Real Estate offering in the North West.

“Her deep knowledge of the Living Sector and Hotels & Leisure markets, combined with her energy, leadership and commitment to excellent client service, make her an exceptional addition to our practice” said Iain Hindhaugh, Head of Transactional Real Estate, Addleshaw Goddard.

AG’s Real Estate team has continued to expand through a series of strategic lateral hires, including Amit Unadkat in the London Real Estate team, Farhod Moghadam into Real Estate Indirect Investments, and Steven Ward in the firm’s Private Funds Group. This growth follows a standout period in which AG advised Arada on its significant investment in the landmark £2.5bn Thameside West regeneration scheme – one of London’s most ambitious large-scale development projects, delivering 5,000 homes in East London.

Iain Hindhaugh further said:

Kirsty joining our Real Estate team is another great strategic hire for us in Manchester. Kirsty brings further strength to our areas of strategic focus and will play a key role in supporting our continued growth.”

Kirsty Chalkey, Partner at Addleshaw Goddard, said:

“It is incredibly exciting to join such a vibrant team with an inimitable reputation and genuine ambition. I am very much looking forward to getting stuck in, contributing to the further growth and success of both Addleshaw Goddard’s Manchester team and the firm’s Living team.”
