Global law firm Clifford Chance announced that David Ballegeer has been appointed as a Partner in its Global Financial Markets team, based in Brussels. He will join the firm from Linklaters in April 2026.
David advises clients across a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on the energy and energy transition sector. His practice focuses on complex financings, including bank–bond structures, sustainability linked and green financings. He advises EU and non-EU incorporated groups, listed and non-listed, as well as lenders, on debt and capital markets products across the entire capital structure. He brings enthusiasm and a wealth of experience to the table.
