Wadia Ghandy & Co. Advised CFM Asset Reconstruction Private Limited and its promoters on its recent strategic investment by Indian Card Clothing Company Limited. CFM Asset Reconstruction, registered with the RBI as an asset reconstruction company, specializes in the acquisition and resolution of stressed financial assets from banks, financial institutions, and other qualified sellers.
The role included advising on the overall transaction structure, negotiating key commercial terms, and negotiating and finalising the definitive documents.
The transaction was led by Partner Rohini Verma, with support from Associate Anushka Sharma. Senior Partner Shabnum Kajiji, provided strategic guidance on certain regulatory aspects of the deal.
