AZB & Partners and Khaitan & Co have advised on Brigade Group’s strategic partnership with Bain Capital through a 50:50 joint venture to develop and manage a 2 million sq ft mixed-use project in Bengaluru. The project will comprise Grade A office space and a five-star hotel.

Khaitan & Co advised Bain Capital in relation to the formation of a 50:50 joint venture between GSS India Opportunities AIF Scheme I, represented by its fund manager Bain Capital Advisors (India) Private Limited, and Brigade Enterprises Limited.
The core Khaitan team consisted of Partners Deepak Jodhani and Abir Sarkar, Principal Associate Divyansh Joshi, Senior Associate Anadi Saxena, and Associate Aman Nayar.
Real estate aspects were handled by Partner Sudheer Madamaiah and Associate Harish Bojappa Kugunavar. Employment, labour and benefits support was provided by Partner Vinay Joy and Associate Shaaryl Dsouza.
