Weil and Carey Olsen advised Goldenpeak on the first and final close of its debut private equity fund, Goldenpeak Fund I, at its hard cap of £375 million.
Goldenpeak Fund I reached its hard cap in only 12 weeks, making it one of the fastest fundraisings among first time UK and European funds this year, and is backed by a number of leading global institutional investors. The Fund will target investments in growth orientated B2B services business in the UK and Ireland.
Weil has advised Goldenpeak on the “one and done” closing of its debut private equity fund, Goldenpeak Fund I, at its hard cap of £375 million.
The Weil team was led by Private Funds Partners James Sargent and Sophie Smith, and Tax Partner Aron Joy, and included Private Funds Associates Luke Costello, Danny Lee, Abdul Wahaab Din, Alex Schumacher and Priya Tulsiani (Not Yet Admitted in the U.K.), and Tax Associates Lisa Pearson and Jack O’Donohue. The team also included New York Tax Partner Menachem Danishefsky and Associate Jay Perry.
