Latham & Watkins and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP advised on Nscale’s US$2 billion Series C funding.
Nscale Global Holdings Ltd. has raised US$2 billion in a Series C funding round, valuing the company at US$14.6 billion and marking the largest funding round in Europe to date.
The round was led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries, with participation from investors including Astra Capital Management, Citadel, Dell Technologies, Jane Street, Lenovo, Linden Advisors, Nokia, NVIDIA, and Point72.
Nscale is a global hyperscaler focused on enterprise-grade artificial intelligence infrastructure, developing vertically integrated AI platforms spanning GPU compute, networking, data services and orchestration software across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised Nscale on the transaction. The team was led by London Corporate Partner Shing Lo, with Counsel Jennifer Cadet and Associates Toni Adejuyigbe and Sidney Chin.
Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP advised Aker ASA on its participation in the funding round, which includes both a cash investment and the roll-up of Aker’s stake in the Aker–Nscale joint venture.
The Skadden team included Denis Klimentchenko, Patrick O’Gara, and Deborah Kirk.
